Cherry Coconut Smoothie
Creamy indulgent and best of all extremely healthy ! This is a perfect smoothie for a quick healthy breakfast or to help you recover after a session in the gym.
What it’s good for:
Cherries are packed with the antioxidants C + E which help support the immune system and fight disease. Young coconut juice marries wonderfully with the cherry and acts like an electrolyte that helps hydrate your cells, transport energy and boost circulation. A few scoops of Pure Protein helps your body to recover + support a healthy immune system.

Hi Teresa..do the frozen cherries have the seeds in them still and if i used fresh would i need to deseed them (I recieved a vitamix as a gift !)
Thankyou
Robyn, WOW a VitaMix that’s great ! you will love it ! Now if you buy frozen cherries from the supermarket they are generally pitted, so all you need to do is throw them into the smoothie. if you buy fresh cherries, you will need to remove the pits first. Frozen is much easier and takes about 1 minute to make
Hi Teresa – Just wondering… I would be interested in making this for after a training session. Is it ok for me to make it, store it in a fridge at the gym and grab it after the session or is it something you need to drink straight away?
You can easily make it before you train and enjoy afterwards….I just love mine nice and icy cold which is why I use frozen cherries. All Good. ! x
