    Hi Theresa,

    How do we know all the nutritional value remains in the stored powder? for example if you make a fresh smoothie it is recommended to eat it ASAP, and not prepared the day before, as nutritional value is said to be lost.

    • All the ingredients in our products including Green Smoothie are stringently tested for nutrients and any irregularities such as gluten etc…to make sure it 100% safe for everyone.
      Green Smoothie has a number of features one being it is 100% Australian certified organic as well as Gluten free. Organic produce is more nutritious than conventional, no toxins or pesticides is standard practice.

      Green Smoothie is uses freeze-dried whole food ingredients so as not to denature vitamins and antioxidants that are naturally occurring in the ingredient.

      There are many juice powders Juice on the market that use spray-dried juice powders – most spray drying involves heat and all juices require flash pasteurisation so this double heat process may reduce the total nutrient content…

    This looks like an amazing product. However I am always wary of drinking raw dark greens because of the oxalates as I have hypothyroid. What is your opinion on this?

    • Hi Danae…
      Unless you suffer from conditions that require oxalate restriction, there’s no reason to avoid raw green vegetables or smoothies. Green Smoothie is loaded with health promoting nutrients and minerals and moderation is the key in terms of the foods you include into your diet.

      Small amounts of oxalates from green vegetables are unlikely to cause problems in healthy individuals however check with your health professional if you have an issue with including green vegetables and salad ingredients into your diet.

    With fructose intolerance, is the pineapple going to upset my gut?
    Have tried other types of good food with pineapple and end up feeling so unwell.

    • Hi Maddi….the pineapple and apples in the Green Smoothie are negligible…and are there to even out the taste of the greens…we use whole food powders in our products – unlike many other powders that use maltodextrins that can effect digestive health.     Is this product appropriate for young children who refuse to eat vegetables?

    • Yes definitely…I actually make up a wonderful green smoothie – call it a funky name.. like THE HULK or MONSTER green smoothie ..combine 1 1/2 cups cold rice milk, drinking coconut milk or your choice of milk with 1 tablespoon HC Green Smoothie, 2 frozen bananas, 1 scoop of HC vanilla WPI protein. Blend until smooth and enjoy. You can also use frozen spinach instead of ice cubes for extra nutrition.

    Hi Teresa
    sounds great just wondering what it tastes like, we have tired a few supper greens powders and they have a real grassy flavour, hence i am looking one that the hole family will use, so taste is important

    I’ve just got my fussy 6yo onto the Super Food in a frozen banana or berry smoothie, and she’s hooked! She doesn’t eat enough veg, and fussy with meats too. She loves nuts, eggs, cheese, natural Greek yoghurt with raw honey, beetroot leaves, most fruit, baked beans and good quality sausages and fish fingers preferably store bought, sigh, plus of course anything chocolate! (lucky both my kids love good quality dark chocolate) Wondering if the Green Smoothie might be best? Although, she thinks the pink colour is from berries and juice from beetroot leaves and loves it! I actually prefer my protein shakes without the Super Foods, and can’t believe she loves it so much! (forgot to mention she has 1tsp raw honey in it too
