This is the ultimate vegan breakfast shake that’s rich in protein, antioxidants and healthy fats for a super nourishing start to your day. A step up on your regular morning routine, I’ve used my Raspberry Cashew + Coconut Protein Balls to easily create a supercharged meal. This is a super quick and easy breakfast for those on the go.

 

WHAT’S GREAT ABOUT IT

 

Raspberries are the star addition to this smoothie because of their soft, sweet texture and their lush colour. Raspberries are packed with antioxidants, are a good source of vitamin C, and contain dietary fibre for optimal health. Coconut is high in healthy fat and is a thicker, creamier dairy-free alternative. The protein from the Raspberry Cashew + Coconut Protein Balls will keep you full and energised all morning.

2 protein bliss balls
1/2 cup coconut milk
1/4 cup raspberries
ice

method

  1. Combine bliss balls, coconut milk, raspberries and ice in a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth, thick and creamy.
  3. Pour and enjoy.

Sweeten to taste with organic maples syrup if desired.

Substitute coconut milk for delicious homemade almond milk or macadamia milk.

 

For a thicker, more indulgent smoothie add half a frozen banana or 2 tablespoons of coconut yoghurt.
