STRESS BUSTER SMOOTHIE
I designed this smoothie recipe for myself and hubby due to our heavy work schedules. We needed some quick healthy nourishment that would energise and revitalise our minds and body. I love to create this antioxidant rich smoothie made with berries and other super-food ingredients, as they help support my adrenals and stabilise my energy level. Stress can keep cortisol levels in the blood elevated for longer, which in turn can affect metabolism, suppress thyroid function and increase abdominal fat.
