The Healthy Chef Proudly Supports Australian Certified Organic.

We are pleased to announce our alignment with Australian Certified Organic (ACO), the national organic regulatory body, for the 5th year in a row. We were the first company to bring Organic Pea Protein in Australia!

Healthy Chef Organic Pea Protein, Organic Superfood Antioxidant, Turmeric LatteOrganic Ceremonial Grade Matcha Green Tea and Everyday Greens are Australian Certified Organic (ACO) and feature the ACO ‘bud’ logo on the packaging.

The use of organic and natural wholefoods is at the heart of our philosophy at The Healthy Chef. We pride ourselves on developing high quality products and recipes that will inspire a deeper commitment to healthy living.

We believe that HEALTH COMES FIRST, so our products are specifically designed to be as pure as nature intended.

We have been utilising premium organic ingredients since we developed our Purely Delicious functional food range and organic certification is an important step to formalise our commitment to quality, and the production of natural, honest and pure food.

We need to care for our bodies; but of equal importance, we need to consider our external environment. Foods produced using chemicals or genetic modification deplete our bodies and our environment of health and vitality. Organic food is not just chemical-free. Organic farmers take a holistic approach to food production and handling, and the whole system is linked:

Soil – Plants – Animals – Food – People – Environment – Health.

This means that our foods and processing facility have been tested to the highest standards to achieve ACO certification.

Our non-ACO certified functional foods include our Pure Native WPI range that has also been held up to the same rigorous standards. Our Pure Native WPI is ultra filtered directly from pasture-raised, hormone-free, raw milk that only has one single pasteurization process as required by law – All other processing methods are at cold temperature to preserve the native character of the protein (defined as un-denatured). This allows for a clean and un-adulterated pure source of protein that tastes purely delicious and is quickly absorbed into the body. Dairy farmers are part of a national co-op and ensure humane treatment of animals and sound farming practices.

We also add lactose during the filtration process of our Pure Native WPI which makes it virtually lactose free and suitable for those with digestive issues such as lactose intolerance and bloating.

“As a nation, we need to make a deeper commitment to healthy living – whether that is our own bodies or the external environment – because products containing chemicals have the ability to deplete ourselves of health and vitality. This month is also about highlighting the accessibility and affordability of certified organic products as well as the importance of certification and looking for a trusted mark – like the Bud logo – when purchasing organic products.”
