Dreamy, Creamy Strawberry Smoothie

This is the perfect summertime heatlhy breakfast smoothie. It’s the ultimate meal replacement shake to support weight loss and it’s rich in antioxidants, minerals and protein to nourish your body. I drink this smoothie often in the mornings, as the protein powder helps keep me full, supports my digestive system as well as nourish my skin. The addition of matcha helps to boost my energy as well as my metabolism.


Strawberries make the perfect low calorie diet food. You get around 46 calories per cup of fresh strawberries which not only fills you up but is jam packed with wholefood antioxidants such as vitamin C for a healthy immune system and collagen production for healthy skin.  A study published in Circulation Journal, showed that regular consumption of antioxidants found in berries helped to support cardiovascular health.

ingredients (2)

1 cup strawberries – fresh of frozen
1 tablespoon almond butter, coconut butter
2 cups coconut water, iced Nourish + Glow Tea or dairy-free milk 
2 tablespoons of Healthy Chef Protein
1 teaspoon Ceremonial Grade Organic Matcha 
1 cup of ice
½ teaspoon of vanilla extract
stevia or your choice to taste (optional)


To Serve
1/2 cup fresh strawberries, washed, tops removed and smashed with a fork to release their juices.


  1. Combine strawberries, almond butter, dairy free milk or coconut water, Healthy Chef protein, matcha, ice and vanilla in a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth, thick and creamy.
  3. Divide extra smashed strawberries between the 2 serving glasses.
  4. Pour the smoothie over the top and garnish with coconut.
  5. Enjoy.
